A mystical field over the body that drains energy from incoming attacks. Fire loses some of its heat, a bullet loses some kinetic energy ect. Finally, since it needs to be believable and work by destroying energy ignore "Effects that rely on touch (such as many magic spells) only affect you if carried by an attack that does enough damage to pierce your DR." and attacks that run on a lack of energy (cold) are unaffected.

Martel is a medium height, but rather slender. She has green eyes, and straight light green* hair down to her waist. She is wearing functional clothes for travelling, shades of green and white.
*Since this isn't an anime its dyed.
In fact here's a picture, but mentally add a much saner clothing choice, and the various equipment my character is carrying.
