It is interesting, and demonstrates a bit of "corruption" but I would propose an alternate cluster of disadvantages for those looking to ditch magically created trauma; wierdness magnet, unnatural features, supernatural problems like no reflection, arcane, lifebane and the like, to indicate a progressive problem with reality.
