I remember an illustration of the Minotaur in which his torso grows out of the neck of a bull and he has a more human head with horns.
The image stuck with me as one of my favorite depictions, but I can't find it on the internet anywhere.
I think it's from a book of mythology, maybe from around the turn of the century.
