Here's 1500 point British Superhero I put together for another thread. I imagine her as kind of a cross between Margaret Thatcher and James Bond. You could pretty easily tone down her powers to get her closer to 1000 points.

EDIT: Ohhhh, other countries, didn't see that England was already listed up there...
