Well if I were one of your players, and you said "historical" and "fencing" I would think to myself "I don't really know that history very well."

Pirate-themed would be my first thought* but beyond that I would shrug and say, "Three Musketeers"? I don't know a smallsword from a rapier, but the tale told by Dumas sounds like a fun story to be in.

*In this era of reboots and remakes, I can't think of anything I'd like to see a modern take on more than Captain Blood.
