Yeah, it certainly does. And when we refund those few hundred backers who have failed to complete their surveys, that will be a significant chunk of cash. The dollar amount shown in Kickstarter is never (even adjusting for Kickstarter fees) how much actually comes in when all is said and done.
It isn't great, but it's a part of running Kickstarter campaigns and we're learning that it is best to issue refunds than leave pledges incomplete for years.
