Default Let's discuss the scenario editor

I like the map editor, however ...

Problems
1 ◌ Only AI for user created maps.
2 ◌ No placing of units on my map.
3 ◌ Place and erase switch are not quick enough for creative placement.
4 ◌ No Lasso tool.
5 ◌ No ability to copy/paste anything.
6 ◌ Two terrain default.
7 ◌ Placed streams don't automatically connect.
8 ◌ Same hex railroad tracks and road not possible.

Suggestions:
1 ● Add multiplayer support for user maps.
2 ● Give us the ability to place military units as well as the ability to edit and save copies of an original unit.
3 ● Assign left click to place and right click to remove.
4 ● Dragging Left Click selects multiple things at once.
5 ● Allow Control Office commands l like Control-C (copy), Control-V (paste), Control-X (cut) and Control-A (select all) to be used with do-dads and terrain. Maybe even Shift-Left Click to select all of one thing and Shift-Right Click to delete all of one thing.
6 ● Allow more range of default tile set. What if I want an ocean or a giant swamp?
7 ● I appreciate the extra do-dads for the it but the stream placement be dynamic.
8 ● Railroads and roads in same hex in CyberBoard 3.02 by Dale Larson (2005). Look at how he did it?

Multiple unrelated suggestions:
Make layers obvious and intuitive. Allow us to go up and down layers quick via Control + mouse scroll with momentary confirmation text?
Fill command to turn many touching terrain tiles into another type of terrain?
Custom colors for terrain tiles?
Pull down hotkey help text.
Text layer for naming towns, roads and the like. In game hotkey to toggle it.
