Per the Storm Giant writeup in the 2e Monstrous Manual, they can be up to 9th level clerics and 7th level wizards. Some of the other giants can have caster levels, Cloud and Fog I think. In the AD&D Monster Manual, Storm Giants get some spell-like abilities, but no class levels.
