Hut takes longer than normal to get out of New York... He doesn't do well in the giant cities of earth, and driving in New York City is a pain regardless of who you are. But eventually the terrain is regular enough (suburbs) for him to start bending space. The house change in type, and they come out in scotland... and rapidly find themselves near loch ness.

Nessie has stayed in her lair: she really doesn't like meeting strangers, and while Baba Yaga kind of knows her, the others do not.
