I'm pretty sure it will be a "Surprise Topic" assembled from slush-pile (and/or bespoke) articles, leaving all three of
Hot Spots and Locations,
Alternate GURPS V, and
After the End II as topics yet to come. (Of those, only
Hot Spots and Locations would fit as a "theme we've never explored before.")
Time travel is an intriguing guess, though. The only other "longtime fan" topics I can imagine, off the cuff, would be either a) something historical (which seems unlikely for reasons of popular appeal), or b) a media tie-in (which seems unlikely for licensing reasons). But I'll look forward to being surprised!
