Fantasy game, a different one than my last post. Hero System, for the record.
One of our hand-to-hand specialists is basically a medieval Drunken Master, he's got combat skill levels that only apply if the character has been drinking. We're fighting in and around a ruined fort, and just discovered that there's a giant crocodile in the moat. Angus (the PC in question) was going to throw a goblin in the water to distract the croc, rolled an 18, then fumbled a DEX check almost as badly. End result, Angus ends up in the water, still holding on to the goblin, and the croc is about to attack. Angus' player asks if he can shove the goblin in front of him as a literal meat shield. Another player promptly said "But goblins taste yucky, and Angus tastes like a rum ball!"
