As the Brazilian monster hunters do not use supernatural powers themselves, they will need every mundane advantage possible. Mental Strength and Mind Block skills will be taught and as part of their practical Occultism training, the monster hunters will learn how to disrupt RPM rituals and make themselves harder to affect.

Ash and salt are common anti-magic remedies that have been established to work in the campaign. Magic also seems to interfere with modern technology and it is harder to work any magic around high-technology. There will therefore be some slight protection in carrying all the latest gadgets, wearing ballistic polymer and using the most modern weapons possible.

What other mundane countermeasures can Brazilian monster hunters who lack any magic of their own use to protect themselves from all the horrible things adepts and unnatural entities can afflict them with?
