The original rules, and/or a typo that should read -6

-4 to each attack is how main gauche and spike shields used to be. Legacy edition (except the screen) changed that to -0 for the first attack and -4 for the second attack for main gauche (as for Two Weapons talent), and omitting to clearly mention that possibility for spike shields (but still mentioning it in Two Weapons).

The new general rule for people using two weapons without having Two Weapons talent, is -6 DX on each attack. (ITL p.111)
