Default Re: Advice sought for fleshing out a major villian

Ultimately, this "job" paves the way, if successful, for an immediate second job, the rescue of one of "Peter's" employees who had been kidnapped earlier. The 12 individuals who are holding the kidnapped individual at an industrial site nearby in the city, are trying to oppose the "Arms Dealer" and gain information that would have helped them extract the Biochemist in part 1 earlier.

The new "Mercenary ticket" requires a success only payment for the extraction of the kidnapped employee, but offers a blood bounty payment -regardless of success of the initial mission to insure that these particular "terrorists" are put down.

In this instance, the idea is to cloak the real intent behind the seeming major intent. That the so called Terrorists are actually trying to STOP this man won't be readily apparent unless the player character involved decides to do some digging. Once his mission is finalized, I intend to have a news reporter do a background expose on the 12 people he may potentially destroy (how ever many he does kill in the rescue attempt, will be the number of people the Reporter will write a story about).

Hopefully, this might give the player some idea of what is maybe happening. What will hopefully make this scenario memorable, isn't that there were 12 antagonists involved - but that it takes place in an industrial plant, with miles of pipes containing caustic chemicals, high voltage power lines, gratings for flooring, etc. That and the fact that the "kidnappers" are holding this kidnap victim in the heart of a business that has NOTHING to do with the kidnappers to begin with. Collateral damage is going to be potentially a problem.
