Default What's in the bush?

Im just wondering how other GMs generally see Cidri .. no wrong answers :)

You're GMing your crew of usual suspects, who are trekking from A to B through a bit of Cidri wilderness .. they have a random encounter.

Is it most likely to be ..

Whatever the tables in ITL spit out?

Regular earth animals (snakes, wolves, a tiger etc)?

Huntable food animals (rabbits, deer, turkey .. kangaroo)?

Extinct/alternate earth animals (wooly rhino, sabertooth tiger, pterodactyls)?

Regular or giant bugs (giant spiders, stone beetles, a swarm of wasps)?

High fantasy type creatures (dragons, gargoyles, octopi .. a magic unicorn)?

A horde of undead?

Dangerous plants?

Human outlaws?

A wandering merchant + guards, willing to buy and sell?

A hermit, animal skinner, or old timey prospector?

Wild low tech tribal men?

Elves or Centaurs who hunt intruders in 'their' forest for sport?

Other fantastical humanoids? (tribal orcs, reptile men, ogres etc)?

A damsel in distress? (or other plot hook NPC type of thing)?

Come on all you GMs .. whats the first thing your gut tells you
