The PCs are from the afterlife (however defined or described). Their mission? It is to be the guardians or guides of their kin still in mortality. Their respective charges are the ones all meeting at an in.

The PCs are given limitations appropriate to ghostly characters. They cannot interact directly with the mortal world or members of it. They can give telepathic hints. Which means every time they wish to give advice they have to make a role to see if the charge gets the idea.

The PCs would have appropriate characteristics like Dependant, Insubstantial, etc. They would have limitations appropriate to Ghosts (whatever).
