I am reviving this thread in case anyone subscribed to it. I decided to use Psionic Powers + RPM as-is (sorry Christopher) as the two contrasting magic systems in the same game. I wrote up my notes this week and I also finished one template out of a planned 11-12.

Let me know if I'm doing this right! All comments welcome.

One highlight is that basing magic on heat is really interesting. I think so anyway. I managed to come up with a bunch of implications that I can use in game play. Here are the write ups:
