That's unfortunate, as it makes what I wrote above almost meaningless... However, AFAIK, the Kindle 4 (really cheap ATM), has a webkit based browser, and so it ought to support webpages decently, even the ones that require heavy javascript (i've been told that it can use web based gmail without issues).
