A Status 4 Viscount (the highest rank available to starting characters) has a large house with grounds, a city home comparable to a Baron’s, a staff of around 20 servants, and a stable of around 6 horses. 2 or more servants or horses may be traded for a single Chimaera constructed to serve the same purpose. Its overall usefulness and competence is determined by the number of ordinary servants or horses traded in. 3 servants or horses may be traded in for a single mechanical equivalent, which doesn’t work or run any faster, but is somewhat stronger, never tires, and will never run off or betray you.
