I think that, in the case of this particular spell, the interpretation of the Magic and DFRPG versions is meant to be the same. The spell does not appear to make an Aura visible to everyone looking, but only to the caster. Actually, the DFRPG version seems more clear about that - "Lets
you see...", but we were playing that way since 3E. Frex, my Second Edition of Magic says "Shows the caster a glowing halo...".
