For a Celestial to receive an Attunement from the opposing side should probably be impossible -- or at least, require active permission from _both_ of the Superiors involved! And, even if the GM allows this (without involving the Superiors), their should be some _extreme_ Disturbance involved, I'd say. Or maybe the shattering of their Heart (if they don't have their Superior's prior approval).

And, doesn't Asmodeus have some sort of "back door" channels of communication with Dominic? ("Nicky, dear girl, there's been a ... development, shall we say, with one of yours. Involving the implicit cooperation of a Prince as well as a member of the Seraphim Council. Interested?")
