The two games are _very_ similar. It's just a couple esoteric things that have been tweaked. They have the main differences listed if you go in the main menu under the "How to Play" section.
Also, check out my
video tutorial series playlist on how terrain works for all the different units. I just uploaded the last one for Heavy tanks, Superheavy tanks and Ogres today. They will help a lot, especially playing the campaign Advanced map scenarios.
