The Wind in the Willows? Badger's House was under a wood and built into the ruins of a Roman town. A
Bunnies & Burrows campaign crossover with Dungeon Fantasy couldn't have a better setting.
And variants of the idea could be used in a normal Dungeon Fantasy game.
