i was wondering about the gnome...

how can he summon monsters to fight for him... it seems a bit overkill... is there a limit for it?

exemple:
1- does he need a wandering monster to summon a monster to fight on his side?
2- Can the monster be of any level? if he can summon a monster level 20 easily without even a wandering monster it makes it a bit too powerfull i find..
3- can he do that every combat? even on the winning combat? or only if hes not the highest level... or something??
