Honestly, if I had realize this was going to be an issue with Lulu I'd have just printed the PDFs out in grayscale through a PDF Printer Driver (like CutePDF or Bullzip) before uploading the files to Lulu.

Just to give you a head's up Eric, I did some testing with that and when converting to grayscale the images got considerably darker. It was OK, but considering most POD's printer darker as well, I suspect the images will come out too dark...
