I've used these in one Doom-like game involving a specops team:
Echo! - electronic warefare expert
Bravo! - essentially Gun!
Charlie! - demo/combat engineer expert
(only had three players)
These were used in conjunction with the same template, but the three characters ended up pretty unique and true to their respective niches.
