Working from Alexander's era forward, I'd go for Graceo-Roman (more Greek than Roman) and Egyptian.
And don't forget Mithraism! It was the major competition for Christianity. In fact, Christianity assimilated a lot of stuff (the Eucharist, the Twelve Apostles, and other goodies) directly from Mithraic practice in order to compete in a very competitive religious market.
And there's no guarantee that Christianity would prosper. It only became a major religion after Constantine made it the official faith of the Byzantine Empire and declared an orthodoxy to suppress sectarian fighting. Christianity might just remain a branch of Judiasm - or even be re-assimilated into Jewish Orthodoxy.
