Dark and High must be played on a Race card, so one can't be a Dark or a High Human.
Otherwise, in a short search I found what seems to be Andrew and I saying that helping an already winning Monster counts. I'd have to actually look at my database to be sure, but I think the only way you get the winning Level is if someone suffers Bad Stuff that kills them, but simply aiding in the defeat of the players is enough to get a normal Level. Someone with card access will have to confirm that for me.
