Default Re: Left 4 Dead Zombies

Boomer

The Watchdog and alarm of the undead hordes, this fetid creature projects a combination of bile, puss, and decaying bodyrot that will react with human skin on contact to magnify the odor of the living. This draws undead in LARGE numbers.

Attributes: ST 13, DX 8, IQ 6, HT 8

Secondary: HP 7

Advantages:
Boomer Vomit: Affliction(Dissadvantage) 10/lvl, Bad Eyesight(Nearsighted)+25%, Jet 0%, Enemy (all undead within 100 yd radius) + 200%. [15/level]

Boomer Explosion: As for vomit with the addition of 1d6 crushing, Emanation, Trigger (Failed HT roll), Area Effect (Instead of Jet). [26/lvl]

Dissadvantages:
Easy to Kill 3, Very Unfit

Skills:
Brawling, Innate Attack (Breath),Stealth

Notes:
The boomer has 3 jobs. Puke on people to obstruct vision and draw the hordes. Blow up on people for the same reason. Melee Attack as a last resort.

Scaling:
To adjust the Boomers Bile, go up to blindness from bad eyesight or simply apply vision penalties for a down scale.

The Boomers explosion can be scaled up by Increasing its range and area of effect. The 1d explosive damage is also adjustable.

Brawing and Innate Attack Breath are of course to be scaled to your party's Defense. Stealth seems like an odd choice, but it always seems like theyre trying to hide behind pillars etc. They should of course be horribly bad at it. (15% or 4 less than your party's average perception).

For the Melee Attack damage, it should probably be between smoker level damage and Hunter level Damage.

HP is always scalable, but here its scaled to about 2 pistol shots.

Other Options:
The Boomer Puke power seems to summon all the undead in an X radius. Im going to recommend that instead of trying to keep track of evey undead/infected in that area, just spawn em. Its good enough for the AI director, its good enough for me :)
