Budget Steed is in error. It was not supposed to have a GP value on it. It is not an Item, but simply a Hireling on which you can play Steed Enhancers. The only Curses and Bad Stuff that can affect the Budget Steed are Curses and Bad Stuff which affect Hirelings.
All the "Hirelings" that have a GP value are found only in Super Munchkin at this time, but they are all obviously not "people," but "things," so it's kind of easy to figure out.
For those 3 Sidekicks, they are Items, and can be affected by things that affect Items. I do believe that Talking Car, however, is supposed to be Big so that it can't be taken with by a Thief or someone with a power that grants the Theft meta-ability. That will be its own little errata Item.
