Detect (Long-Range 2; Precise) is a nasty beast, since technically it'll let you sense something anywhere in the world with a straight Per roll. Anywhere.
That's not so bad, until you're running a supers game and one of the players has a Cosmic Pool that can legally purchase (and afford) the above. Even though I ruled firmly that "Detect (Dr. Karl Von Neumann)" is not a valid advantage, I had to agree that there's nothing at all munchkiny about buying "Detect (Supers; Long-Range 2; Precise; Selective Effect)" to allow her to narrow down her sense and just find the one particular super. Eck.
