14) GURPS Reign of Steel: Read the Sky and How to Be a GURPS GM: Ritual Path Magic

This is not a civilized land. Mystical predators roam the countryside in search of meat. Vicious undead and abandoned enchantments haunt the old ruins. Wild and forgotten spells drift through the land, waylaying and leading astray the unwary. Bandits prey upon travelers, confident that any disappearances can be blamed on more inhuman Monsters. The local council of magi have given each of the surrounding communities mirrors of communication, letting them talk to one another in times of trouble.
