The K31 is probably the best rifle of WWII vintage. It was
definatly the most accurate.
Nearly every K31 (or 1911 rifle) I have ever seen is cabable of 1 1/2" groups with surplus ammo. Some are true MOA rifles.... with
military ammo
GP11 ball is the best, most consistant surplus cartridge I have ever seen. It is worthy of being called true, match ammunition. It is really that good.
Add that to the fact that it (and all swiss ammunition) is totally non corrosive you got a winner.
