Re: PDF Errata

Picking on Skarg for a minute:

These are not errata.

Don't use this thread to talk about layout unless it actually causes errors. "I don't think this looks as good as it could" isn't something...

Re: PDF Errata

"I would have written that differently" is not a mistake.
"I dislike your comma usage" is not a mistake.

Re: Do Other People Have Their PDF's?

If you're getting an authorization failure, try signing into your W23 account *first* and then clicking the link in your email for download. W23 gets weird sometimes.

Re: Replying to Plane

You're misunderstanding the rule. The various new character traits don't replace Class and/or Race; you can have an Elf Pirate with a French Accent who is from Halloween Town if you want.

There's...

Replying to Plane

Over on the CCG forum, Plane wrote:

Yes, that's the original Munchkin game. The contents of the two boxes are the same; just the box itself is different.

Yes.

The CCG is the Collectible Card...

Re: Who is the cute goblette?

Plane, I'm going to answer your questions over on the Munchkin forum so we can keep this one specifically about the Collectible Card Game.

Re: Who is the cute goblette?

They're separate games. Munchkin (the non-CCG version) is a more traditional card game for 3 to 6 players, where you deal and draw from common decks and try to kill monsters to get to Level 10 faster...

Re: Banned Users

Flyndaran and tanksoldier have both been banned for three days.

If you are in the middle of an argument via PMs, don't take that argument public. If you can't refrain from replying to someone...

Re: Munchkin Warhammer 40,000: Faith and Firepower

We had our pre-mortem last week, where we look at every piece of the game from the outer shipping carton markings to the copyright text on the sprue that you recycle as soon as you've punched the...

Re: Munchkin Zombies One-Shot Cards

They are not Items because, well, they aren't items.

Zombies has more of those than most Munchkin games, although Cthulhu has a fair number as well.

Re: Two rules questions.

All cards go from your stash to your hand during your unstash step. You cannot choose to leave any cards stashed.

Always stash cards face down unless a rule or a specific card explicitly says...

Re: Side Quests timing

If a Side Quest depends on a specific event - losing three levels, for instance - you can't claim it retroactively; you have to have that Side Quest when the event happens.

However, if a Side...

Re: Copycat Side Quest

You have to be able to fulfill the conditions of the Side Quest you're copying. Basically, it's like you're playing the same Side Quest as the other player.

Re: Munchkin on Switch?

We've been working with Asmodee Digital for a while. I expect you'll see more information about it when the game is closer to release; right now, I don't know when that is other than "2019."

Re: Narrow Passage & involuntary helping

This is correct. The players can't help each other because they aren't "actually" in the same place.

Re: Items exchange

You can't give cards out of your hand at all. You can trade (or give away) Items that you have in play in front of you, as long as neither you nor the player you're trading with (giving to) is in...

Re: Pick card from other players hand

If it doesn't specify a truly random draw, you may ask for a Door or a Treasure. You don't get to look at the faces of the cards unless the card says you do.

Re: Curse! Clerical Error

He did not kick open the door and he gets to do that at the start of his turn. If it gives him a new monster to fight, that's the way things go sometimes.

Re: Can Annihilation be played on Restraining Order?

See below. If that doesn't clarify things for you, I think we'll just have to agree to disagree about the interpretation.

Restraining Order doesn't prevent a player from using cards on herself. It...
