Re: Two quick questions

When a thief steals, they can turn the card sideways and add it to their unequipped carried items.

Cards never return to your hand unless the effect specifically says the card goes in your hand.

Re: Munckin: Marvel Edition (Mind Gem)

"First Pick" means they get to pick one treasure from the ones available.

When you sell items for levels, you must sell at least 1000 gold worth.

Re: Using Inept! in response so a class ability

Similar to the charm spell, the thing that triggers the theft is the thief discarding a card. Once the thief discards a card, it is too late to play "inept".

Re: Can i use "Cheat!" in a battle?

Andrew is referring to an Item which you have already equipped, but is not legal for some reason.

For instance, you could have an item equipped that is legal only for your Race, but someone...

Re: Discarding items with "Help me out here"

Aha. So you are allowed to discard a Big item to take another Big item, as long as that one item is the only one that has to be discarded. Thanks for the clarification.

Re: Discarding items with "Help me out here"

Help-me-out-here specifies that you are taking an item from another player and equipping it. If you have an item "in the way", you must discard that one item. You cannot unequip and keep it. I am...

Re: Gnome

You never have a case where one player runs away and the other keeps fighting. Once the player whose turn it is decides to run away, both of the players run.

Re: Lamashtu will not persue question

I am assuming the player was winning against Lamashtu alone, and therefore would not be allowed to run away.

Re: Pitch Pot from path finder

As a general rule, you cannot "Force another player to Run Away" from their combat, unless you have a card which specifically says you can.

Re: cleric

"Loot the Room" is Face-down, so a cleric would not be able to resurrect that.

Re: Elder + gnome + gnome racial = ?

Per this (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.php?p=1841563&postcount=8) post, the monster adds to your combat strength, not your level.

Re: Marvel M: Secret Invasion and Mind Gem ??

For #1, Munchkin does not have a "stack" mechanism, so generally you cannot play cards in reaction to other cards, and have the new card go first. If you are hit with a card, you usually have to...

Re: "Run Away" Confusion

Yes.
To get away you would need some sort of run away bonus from another card, or a card that lets you get away automatically.

Re: HELP

I am supposing you could use it to run away when you were winning, but there is no need to use it if you are losing.

If the player runs away from his battle, his helper runs away too.
