Re: Munchkin Adventure Time: Backpack Too Overpowered

Are you missing that any item with a gold piece value may be put into play "unused" so it doesn't clog up your hand? This includes most one-shot items as well as items for which you don't have any...

Re: Exercise T variant

Well in theory it would be 3-4, if you take into account the increased cost of SHVY from 13.07

Re: Exercise T variant

Are you using 13.07 partial damage to superheavies?

Re: Looking for players in North Carolinas

I live in the Charlotte/Concord area. I'm hoping to attend MACE in November and could certainly be convinced to lug my Ogre set to the con and pull it out to play some.

Re: The Future Of OGRE DE

There are 4 distinct color schemes/factions of units included in ODE:

Paneuropean (blue on white)
North American Combine (red on black)
Black Rose Mercenaries (green/black on light green)

Re: 3-or 4-player Scenarios?

Many GEV scenarios can be made 3-4 player by using the Ogre variant and giving one player the conventional forces and the other the Ogre.

As always, I'll also recommend Exercise T...

Re: 2D Counter Edging and ID Schemes

You can see a picture of my coding scheme on my Google+ Album (https://plus.google.com/photos/+ScottEllisElysStorm/albums/5965625372675394641/5965990723534505122).

The counters are first colored...

Re: misprint?

Like anything else, there are occasionally damaged or misprinted cards included in a box. Contact orders@warehouse23.com and they'll set you straight.

Re: Nihon Empire American Divisions Custom Sheet

I can understand that idea. I'd already appropriated silver to color the "shoulders" of my missile/HWZ units. Scroll down to the bottom of my album...

Re: Nihon Empire American Divisions Custom Sheet

I used metallic sharpies on the edges of part of my 3D units (highlights the main batteries and missile launchers nicely). But I found that the "Berry" color of sharpie was a perfect match for the...

Re: Overrun rules- two interpretation questions

[citation needed] (in 8.x, not 6.x)

No mention of movement requirements. 6.x mentions movement because the Ogre needs to move to get to the unit it rams.

Re: OGRE DE Accessories

That's right, I've never had a significant problem with them shifting. I'm actually taking Ogre out tonight to play and will end up carrying it sideways for longer/farther than I have previously, so...

Not really, the bags are all small enough when folded over to fit. Check out a picture of my setup (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/1885791/ogre?size=large) (including my color-coding for all the...

Re: OGRE DE Accessories

An assortment of small plastic bags solves that problem (look for craft-supply bags, they'll be much smaller than grocery-store ziplocks. As a bonus, I have my green rubble overlays separated from...

Re: Uncommon Cybertanks

GURPS Ogre (http://e23.sjgames.com/item.html?id=SJG30-6097) contains the greatest amount of additional background information on the Ogreverse.

Re: Good four player scenarios?

Exercise T (http://www.sjgames.com/pyramid/sample.html?id=2821) is also a good bet (if a smaller scenario). Since it's a free-for-all, no problems with someone directing each side. And if you have...

Although only one copy of B5 is pictured, the other backers with conventional unit sheets have received them in sets of 2. So I expect that Nightfall will ship with their scenario book, 2xB5, 1xK2,...

There should actually be 2 waves of expansions coming. First will be the Ogre assault packs, which look to be 4 separate small expansions with a new unit and some new terrain along with a scenario...

Re: 3D Ogres + Sharpie

I just finished edging all the 3D units in my set this weekend. I did the edges in color, with metallic highlights on gun barrels, missile launchers, etc. In the case of multiple Ogres in the same...

Re: Cheat! (CLTNT) and a Curse!

The whole argument has actually started on a false premise.

The rules state that you can't play items while in combat, or alter what items you're using. Even if you're allowed to play CWBH (or...

Re: Buildings and overruns by Ogres/INF

That's a pretty small edge case. To be disabled and left around for a second overrun, they must have been disabled by the terrain in the hex of an immobile and helpless object. Any terrain that...

Re: Buildings and overruns by Ogres/INF

I'd call shenanigans on any attempt to use movement order to overrun a stationary target more often than any individual unit's movement points would allow. Since stationary and helpless targets are...

Re: Buildings and overruns by Ogres/INF

Units aren't disabled solely by the action of overruning. And the overrun would persist until one side was destroyed, so just by overrunning as a non-disabled unit, it would destroy the other one.
