If they have Possession with the Spirit modifier (which sounds like the case) you can cancel it with the Exorcism skill. So a +300% modifier seems overkill.

Separating can be done with the Exorcism skill, but you can also try Affliction (Negated advantage, Po session) as suggested or use Possession yourself to fight them, I add Cosmic, +50% to allow...

To be fair that is not a problem of the book. the mandate fr the Hot Spot series is real world historical. So it may just be a target audience issue, though the short campaigns chapter helps.

A lot of regular animals can be dangerous, especially with an IQ boost.
However just to make things more interesting I built martial styles for them to allow for some of the moves they are known...

Its solid wood, no give or flexibility in the sole and heel. I would let a perk let you walk around heel first so no penalty but doubt its very realistic.
