Re: [ATE] Farming example

Nice! I really like the failing but salvageable setup.

Big thank you again for all of these, they give great insight and background detail for AtE settlements.

Re: [ATE] Farming example

Thanks (E) these are awesome, a great starting point for me to adjust for my own games.

IŽd be interested in your ideas for a desert/dry setting, very Mad Max style.

Re: Starting an In Nomine game

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm pretty new to In Nomine so my interpretations of what some of the Superiors Words cover, may have been a little off. The advice is very usefull though.

I'll just go...

Re: Starting an In Nomine game

Thanks everybody for the ideas, the technical stuff is pretty much lost on me for the moment, but otherwise it's all very usefull.

I guess what I need to do now really is pitch the game, and see...

Re: Starting an In Nomine game

Wow, lots of replies, thanks everybody!

I like the point about more obvious celestial involvement decreasing the chance of the tether forming. It forces the players to think creatively. Although...

Starting an In Nomine game

OK, so I've never played, never mind run, an In Nomine game, but recently a great idea hit me for setting a game in Barcelona (where I live... well, I live just outside). The general idea is thus......

Re: GURPS Dog Town

oops! try this link instead.

Yeah, it's a 70's setting, as were most of the great mafia films. So TL7 it'd be.

Any hints and tips...

Re: GURPS Dog Town

Well, I'll reserve final judgement till I've ran it for a while, but it looks pretty good to me at the moment. Hopefully I'll have no nasty surprises.

Re: GURPS Dog Town

Ah, that kinda makes sense, it was the system that baffled me too. I'm kinda glad to hear it isn't just me who couldn't get it. :)

I was just asking in case there was any problems that the setting...

Re: GURPS Dog Town

Yeah? In what way did they not like it?

Honestly, I've had problems with the system.... just unable to get my head around it... but as a setting book I think it's really rich and detailed. I did...

Re: GURPS Dog Town

Thanks for the reply.

The Dog Town setting itself is pretty gritty, so that's what I'm going to run with. I may cut a bit of slack to the players, as they're both GURPS newbies. I've put together...

GURPS Dog Town

So I read through the Dog Town RPG (
http://coldbloodedgames.typepad.com/...town_products/) recently and was blown away by the setting, it's just so rich and detailed. I absolutely failed however to...
