Re: D&D5e Characters-What has worked for you?

I must be one of those odd ducks then. I haven't used rolled stats since AD&D2.

Mainly as a way of preventing the people who insist that the only viable way to roll is 5d6 drop the lowest 2,...

Re: Bring on Hall of Judgment!

<Moderator>
Keep it civil please. Some of the post in the last day have either brushed the line, or crossed it.

Remember, once you move past the discussing the idea and into actually discussing...

Re: Anyone have a 3rd edition character sheet?

My 3rd Edition (3rd printing) also had two others in the instant characters booklet, pretty much the same, but one had an outline of a muscular guy, and the other of a woman. At about 1/4 of the...

Re: Anyone have a 3rd edition character sheet?

Which one do you have in your book? I'm guessing it's one of the ones with the vague figures in the image square?

Re: Anyone have a 3rd edition character sheet?

A quick look on the GURPS Resources & Play Aids (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/resources.html) page includes a link to this 3rd edition record sheet (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/img/GURPC.pdf).

Re: The Economic System in TFT

Actually, I was pointing out that there is a real life group of people effectively doing that. They occasionally show up at SCA events.

So a not very good joke, unless you already knew that.

Re: The Economic System in TFT

Don't worry about it, the joke was apparently not as amusing as I thought it was.

Re: Parry and Close combat

Just a reminder to try to keep non-DFRPG GURPS sources out of the DFRPG threads as much as possible. It can cause confusion for people about the DFRPG line.

Thank you.

Re: Cardboard Hero Bases Too Loose?

I only have the black bases that came in the box. Quick test slide each figure (10 chosen at random from both sheets) 3 times per base.

2 of the bases fell off once when picking them up from the...

Re: Creature/Animal creation

And the usual caveat, remember that points are for player characters, just assign the stats you need for anything else. You really can't balance things in GURPS the way you can in other systems.

And since the question...

Re: Virtual Table Top (VTT) support

I was aware of that, but it doesn't alter what I was saying. It will not replace the GM icon with the NPC icon. It just replaces the text GM with <NPC name>.

In other words, it still has the large...
