I've always just ruled that if the normal rules would have resulted in parrying-weapon breakage but the weapon cannot be broken, the result is a disarm.

Isn't Obscure 10 just going to give people -10 to hit you? With Obscure, the attacker still goes through with the attack (using ammo, possibly hitting the wrong target, etc.). It's just more likely...

You're not missing anything. It's by far the most overpowered advantage in the game. It needs to be handled with a high degree of GM oversight.

Obviously, many disagree with me on this point....
