"Wait, we have two hookers in the party? And one of them knows how to run laser cannons? This is going to be a great party!"

Wow. That sounds like one of our games.

In our Traveller game: A local noble “left” something on the party’s ship and a thief, using falsified documentation, has taken the item. After a quick bit of research, we discover that the guilty party has fled the high port and the ship he’s on is heading for the 100D limit.

Jillian: “I’ll put in a call to the Navy. [The criminal] has broken several Imperial laws, so the Navy will now get involved.
Val: “What I could discover he left about three hours ago aboard the Golden Dawn.
Shade: “You really think the Navy will catch them?”
Jillian: “Not really, but maybe it’ll make the captain of the Golden Dawn think twice about hauling illegal passengers.”
Val: “Yeah I doubt [the criminal] didn’t pay for a lack of Imperial entanglements.”
Jillian: “Yeah, I can see him telling the guy to sit down and they’ll be safe once they make the jump into hyperspace.”
Val (OC): “Oh, my God, we’re the bad guys! We’re serving the Empire!”
Jillian: “He ain’t no Han Solo . . . and I ain’t no Grand Moff.”

In our Supers game: Heaven’s little step-sister, Seyla, caught her having sex with Lina, one of the other supers. Heaven and Lina sit down with Seyla to talk to her about sex.

Heaven: “You’re really too young to have sex, I want you to wait.”
Seyla: “But it looks like you were having so much fun.”
Lina: “Well, it was fun, but we both want you to wait.”
Heaven: “Also, I promised your mom that we wouldn’t let you join us.”
Seyla: “You what?”
Lina: “Don’t worry, it’s not like the world is going to run out of sex in the next few years.”
Heaven: “Yeah, we’d be boned.”
All Players: *Uncontrollable laughter*
Lina: “Actually, I think we wouldn’t be.”

In our Traveller game(snip)

This being Diaspora, it's heavily influenced by Traveller. Hooker #1 grew up in our Space Vegas, so it's understandable she'd have gone into that career path, while hooker #2 (the one that can run a laser cannon) used to be an asteroid miner, but hitched a ride with the scammer who bought a rich strike out from under her ship for peanuts. After running into hooker #1 in a bar, she figured it beat working for a living...

Not as much a quote as a slapstick element...

Call of Cthulhu campaign. American investigators in Europe. Just left Romania, and now in Scotland. Asked by NPC running a village post office what the party was doing in the Highlands of Scotland, a PC answered "Oh... we're tourists".

Now, we are three Australians and a Norwegian, with an English GM. So we were doing our best / worst American tourists impersonations, whilst an Englishman was doing a whole host of Scottish accents. Our 2nd generation Korean FLGS manager found it very amusing. I am just happy that no Americans or Scots wandered into the store whilst we were playing. The words "British" and "Scottishers" were used repeatedly.

Re: Memorable Quotes.

Jillian has jumped to a world where, somehow, she became President of the United States. After a night of debauchery (which the woman she replaced enjoyed), she has a discussion with her daughter, Gayle:

Gayle: “What would you do if those images wound up on the net?”
Jillian: “That’s not very likely, I used to do worse things and they’ve been removed.”
Gayle: “Yeah, but how is it happening?”
Jillian: “The Secret Service’s hack crackers are doing a good job.”
Jillian: (Momentary pause as the words process)
Other Players: (Laughter)
GM: “Are those like Scooby Snacks?”
Jillian: “Crack Hackers!”
GM: “Ruhh-oh Raggy!”

Fight in progress on a cruise ship, much chaos (someone, not us, hit the "Evacuate Ship" alarm), and we'd sorta like the wealthy lido deck passengers to get the heck out of our way so we can take out the bad guys. My character gets a reasonable roll on her Presence Attack telling them to take cover in their rooms, but we have a short OOC conversation about better lines to use in that situation.

Player 1, OOC: Look out, it's ex-wives demanding alimony!
Player 2, OOC: And everyone draws guns ....
