Ogre Tools

Broad purpose: useful tools for creating units, designing scenarios, and actually playing the game.

Cobb Calculators
Henry Cobb has written two calculators for figuring out how many victory points units are worth and for calculating various other things.

You can find his Ogre Calculator here: http://www.hcobb.com/gev/ogrecalc.html, with explanation

You can find his GEV Formula Calculator here: http://www.hcobb.com/gev/formcalc.html

SJGames maintains a list of PBEM tools for Ogre, primarily using Cyberboard: http://www.sjgames.com/general/gm-aids.html#ogre

How would those be any more important than the tools at...

We could add those to an Ogre tools post and sticky it here in this forum. I didn't even know those tools existed, so I think it would be handy to have a tools sticky.

Done.

If you know of good tools for Ogre, feel free to contribute the links to this thread. Buzzardo (and I) will update the first post with the useful ones.

As always, y'all should be aware of the SJ Games Online Policy regarding things such as game aids.

Huh, never knew that existed.
Only 3 OGRE players in my area, but the most important one is among them.

Totally psyched to have my new pocket and deluxe games in hand!

I made a 2-sided OGRE record sheet with 4 x Mk III and 4 x Mk V on it. It's in Ariel since I find that easy to read, and I don't have the iconic digital font of the game. Unfortunately, I'm not permitted to upload it.

Does anyone else have one they've made or would they like to upload mine for me if they've that privilege?

Cheers, Alex

Wasn't there a pdf of blank ogres and or counters out there somewhere, so one could 'color their own'?

Thanks

I would love to see these in a pre-punched sheet like the ones that come with ODE. Along with all the other Ogres...

*HINT for future Ogre products!
