How would you create/price a power and/or an RPM spell that heals corruption?
 
As per the title.

I figured it could be a modifier on the Healing advantage or it could be some kind of Greater Restore Spirit ritual for RPM. The idea is to have a saintly character who can remove corruption in an area where corruption magic is pretty common.

Is this meant to affect the Corruption mechanic from Horror, or, some other form of corruption?

I'd make it a modifier to Healing, probably +20% to +40% (sort of the opposite of "Injuries Only" and "Disease Only", but adds "Can Heal Corruption). Requiring the Faith Healing Enhancement as a prereq as well seems apropos.

For rate, I'd reverse the Corruption mechanic. Assuming the standard conversion rates of 25 Corruption = 1 CP = 25 energy, then with a 10 min/FP recovery rate, the saint could heal 25 Corruption for 25 FP (taking 250 minutes to recover), or a 1:1 ratio. But adjust the rate to suit.

The saint could also guide his patient in doing Penace (Horror p 148) while Healing. (That's 4 Corruption per day, so it might serve a benchmark to judge how powerful you want the saint's direct application of holy power to be. Do you want restoring Corruption to be mostly about the saint's intervention, or mostly about the actions of the patient?)

I think it could be applied as a modifier to regular damage healing.

Corruption is a great deal more 'scary' than regular damage so I might go with the following:

Greater restore body
Greater Restore spirit
(both are required)

Healing (ammount healed) +50% cosmic for being able to heal corruption.

Thus a 'heal corruption' spell would look like the following:

Heal corruption
Spell Effects: Healing.
Inherent Modifiers: None.
Greater Effects: 2 (5).


This Casting: Greater Restore Body (4) + Greater Restore Spirit (4) + Healing, 1d (Cosmic, +50%) (10). + Subject Weight, 300 lbs. (3). 105 energy (215).

if 105 energy is far too within reach for your healers insisting on +300% cosmic makes it the following:

Heal corruption
Spell Effects: None.
Inherent Modifiers: None.
Greater Effects: 2 (5).


This Casting: Greater Restore Body (4) + Greater Restore Spirit (4) + Healing, 1d (Cosmic, +300%) (60) Subject Weight, 300 lbs. (3). 355 energy (715).
