Work out the details of where and what the sartorial pits are if the character concept gets selected.

So am I. However I do it is sure to be easier than getting five people to reach a consensus choice among 4! (= 24) possible assignments. The viking hat's decision doesn't have to be optimal so long as it is a decision.

Yes, but only some of them make points or ask questions about FLAT BLACK that would never have occurred to me. For instance, I would never have seen the analogy between the Mayflowerites and the Jews of the Diaspora and Babylonian Exile. Only some of them represent players hitting personal bests.
